ABOUT ME

Hello!

 

When I'm not designing, gaming, or cooking, you can usually find me busy with a
number of other things that involve energy, organization, passion, and a four-legged friend or
two.

Over the last decade, I've worked for an awards company, helped residential and
commercial clients through their kitchen, bath, and flooring design transformations, and
consulted on numerous artwork and political graphic design projects. I hope to bring
about joy and change with my designs–whether through entertainment, in the home, in the
workplace, or helping to elect people and enact policies that benefit working families like my
own.

I hope you find my work and passion for design compelling. I have never been one to give
up on a project because it seems difficult. I have the resources and strong will to help me adapt
to any situation. I have taught myself many programs throughout my career, building upon my
education in graphic design. Learning a variety of programs and tools shows my resourcefulness
and ability to adapt to a changing industry.

My husband and I have made rural Iowa our home, where we care for 15 cats and dogs, each
of whom has a Disney character name and is very special to us (one cat and one dog are each
named Lucky–that’s a fun story for another time!).
